Willet the thing is about that, I squeeze that money to build myself guitars out of who knows where. It's very hard to come by for me. I just want to do what I do and get more experience along the way because i'm planning to do this kinda stuff for a bussiness that way I don't have to work the rest of my life at macdonalds(or some crummy job) hating every minute of it doing guitars on the side. I have done a couple projects so far for business purposes. Right now im working on a flying V bass Candy apple red with matching headstock. I'm doing what I love but i need the money too. After I'm rich I can make myself all the gorgeuos ones hhaha.

I'd do it blond (Fender Blond, not MK White) w a tort guard and rosewood board. Or,with a maple neck and a gold anodized guard, but the guard would have to be repro-could even be one of those ones WD sell that are plastic but come in a "brushed gold" look.

BTW, that avatar is really freaky.

I just finished this one, it's a Jag though w/ a Strat neck...

Headstock:

Strat in middle is same color as the Jag, looks better inside...

And the market is fickle. Do one you like and do the best job at it you can. Somebody will see the beauty of it. I loved my 3 tone burst with yellow headstock. But it wasn't for me.

Strangely enough, you didn't include my choices in your poll. I'd go with burgundy mist or black.
