I have Dimarzio Evolution pickups. What type of volume/tone pots do I need?

I used CTS 500K volume and tone pots with my EVO2 bridge and EVO neck. The tone pot is also a push-push used for coil splitting. I am rewiring my Jem Jr. and will use the same thing for the EVO bridge and neck that I put into it. I have had any issues with the CTS 500K pots for the EVO2 combo.

Should both pots be linear or not?

Use audio taper for both, or audio/vol & linear/tone.
