Google this:

There will be a quiz on Friday.

Oh My Gawd!

The writer of this book, was this his college thesis or something?

I don't think the average electronic technician understands the math part of this book. You have to be an electronic or electrical engineer to understand all that math.

I skimmed through the PDF ... I saw integration equations, some matrices, Fourier Series (which I never experience, Taylor Series yes), Euler equations ... if you never took a course in applied Calculus (Physic courses using calculus) then everything looks foreign. Mad

When I used to build passive crossovers, to compensate resistance they said to use "Zobels" [ power resistors ], I thought that was a made up word. Its used in this book!

I'm not taking the quiz. Sad Laughing

In the interest of self-disclosure, neither am I!

But I do like this suckah... There will probably never be a reason to go all the way back to the basics, but it's nice to have a source if it's needed.

That's a great call, Roland. I haven't messed with amps very much for the last 5 years or so... I kinda forgot about Randall Aiken and his publications. He does a great job of laying things out... Thanks for reminding me about his website!
