Hi
I am from Belgium and new on the forum ,my language art is not so good , so forgive me when I write something wrong !
I own a lot of guitars , some are very expensive ,some are very good and others ......are too expensif for the money I paid ......but I have also a very cheap Korean Suzuki strat who sounds really amazing !
But the bridge has a very thinny tremelo ,so i want to change the complete bridge .
The spacing between the 1st and 6st string is 50 mm and as I have already read in some forums ...that's a typical Asian spacing .
If possible I want to use the 6 holes of the old bridge .
I was already hours on internet to find such a bridge but unfortunately I did not find one , the nearest is the 52 mm spacing ???
So can anyone give me an adress where I can buy such a bridge or give me an other idea to solve this ?
Geert

Guitarfetish is where I go for stuff like this.

Even their "import" stuff is wider than 50mm. I don't think I've ever seen less than 52mm.

Best way is probably to plug the holes and re-drill for another bridge.

Here's a hardtail at 50mm.
Sorry, all I could find, as I've been looking for one too.

Thanks for the reply !
I wonder if it would be very visible if I bore new holes .......????
Any suggestion for filling the holes ........with a piece of wood and a good glue I suppose ?
I had a look to the 50 mm bridges .......prices from normal to expensif ...., is there a big difference in substain etc.....or do you pay also the name ?

A 50mm trem with a real steel block would be by far the easiest and would probably sound better.
