Anyone know of any place to get Hot Pink Paint that is Compatible with Nitrocellulose clear?? Or has anyone used House of Kolor paints for guitars? What wuld you use from automotive finishes ie: Acrylic lacquer or Enamel Lacquer etc?

Thanks,

Rustoleum 2X Ultra Cover is an acrylic lacquer and comes in a bunch of cool colors.

This is Berry Pink, like a fuschia. It's cleared with 2K, but nitro shouldn't be a problem. Mist coats to start, and test on scrap.

Hey Thanks Marksound!! Did you prime the wood before color coate? If so what did you use to prime it?? did you apply the 2K from a spray gun or rattle can?

Thank you,
Keith R

I usually use Rustoleum sandable primer. 2K from a gun, U-POL brand.

Question for those who know better than me.

I would be a little hesitant to put nitro over hot pink. Down the line, isn't it more likely to be hot orange? Wouldn't a poly finish be a better choice?
