Are the necks all the same? I see some on ebay that are "RG" necks. Does that mean it's not a Vai neck? An earlier Vai/Ibanez version?

Iím certainly not an expert on Ibanez necks, but I do have a Jem 77PBFP (the new Premium blue floral print) and a Jem Jr. Those are most definitely different necks altogether. I canít give you a hands-on comparison of the $3,000 Jem versus the ones that I have, but I would recommend taking a look at this page:

I have a JEM777.

Not sure how it compares to others. But the radius is quite flat and the top four frets are scalloped. Of course it also has the "disappearing pyramid" inlays, which the RGs and many of the other JEMs did not
