I'm not a gold hardware guy, but that is a gorgeous guitar! The detail work looks amazing. Love the fret markers.

Thanks! Yeah, gold only works for me on a very few color combos, and this one turned out to be one of them. I am doing a cocobolo with gold hardware too, hoping I have good results there.

I am also not a fan of gold hardware, but this looks great. Lots of nice details.
How heavy is it with that walnut? Did you chamber it at all?

It's not the lightest guitar. If I ever did another one, I would give it more chamber under the pick guard, or cap it with another wood and fully chamber it. It weighs about 9.5 pounds which is heavier than I would prefer. But I mainly record sitting down, and don't play out live, so it works for my purposes etc.

Beautiful instrument. The fret markers are a nice touch, the color combo is pure class!

I was going to ask about those. Are they brass?

Love it! The pickguard and pickup covers remind me of my old Legend of Zelda cartridge!

Very cool guitar. Excellent job on the neck and body joint.

Correct, brass rod with rosewood core inserts.
