Feels like a ghost town here.

Yeah, I know, I haven't done any projects and haven't post anything so I have some blame.

I'll post a pair of guitar speaker enclosures in the near future.

I check in to read the threads every couple of days. No guitar painting going on for me at the moment. Tons of other little projects but not much guitar related. Aside from Pickups Laughing

Yeah, I check posts everyday, no guitar building going on at the moment. Been restoring my 81 Toyota pickup, so my shop is filled with it and boxes of parts. Hopefully by end of summer it will be complete

Working on my first ever scratch build. Learning to use my new CNC router, plus the software for the design and cam, as well as two(TWO!) herniated discs have slowed the process quite a bit. It's getting close to done though.

Sorry guys, I've been MIA for a while. My life has been a roller coaster over the last year and half between my mom and her cancer and passing away, moving my business to another state and trying to rebuild it while still building houses. My brother and I are still dealing with her estate and probate BS which totally sucks. You have to rehash her death over to everyone and it just sucks. Tomorrow being Mother's Day is going to suck even harder.

I have 2 projects that I need to finish for someone who has been more than patient and in my opinion a super understanding and wonderful guy. I can't say I'd be as patient as he has but he's totally cool. I'll be back in the swing of things soon hopefully.

I try to throw something on occasionally but never know if it's trite or irritating....I miss Brad, Tangelolemon, who always had a comment or view on anything, and others. It is a kinda on and off thing, sometimes you have a bunch of stuff, other times not so much...

I will throw this out however. A friend of mine has a recording studio/sales/repair shop and it is actually a museum. We were looking at an old Realistic 8-track recorder/player the other day and on the back, it had a switch that was labeled "Whistle Cut'. It is a slider switch, just says "Whistle Cut." What the heck...we laughed but in spite of our collective years and vast knowledge no one knows what it does. I Googled it several times, other makes like Yorx had a similar feature, but no explanation.

So, my friends...what the heck is the "Whistle Cut" feature on an old 8-track???

I have been mostly absentee for a while, but I'm trying to pop back in and check stuff out. I had a divorce a little while ago, which pretty much killed my "project" time/space/money. I'm now remarried with a new little one on the way, so I don't see it changing anytime soon, but I would like to at least finish projects I've got supplies for. We'll see if it happens anytime soon...Either way, still good to see some familiar faces!
