Here's an interesting request- a template for a custom mounting ring to put a Firebird mini (or mini HB) in a humbucker route.

If you need custom rings (pickguard material, exotic wood etc), I can make those up too.

Nice work, Mike! Gonna use the adapter mounting rings to put firebird pickups in this: http://reranch.com/reranch/viewtopic.php?t=56348

I have a 6"x12" brass sheet 1/16" thick. So I should have several extra mounting rings if anyone is interested. They will be chrome plated. I'll put them in the for sale section when they are done.

Another custom request. I can mix and match trem or hardtail bridge and any pickup combo on the S-style templates.

FB-Style Set-neck Template Set - (Click for more pics, price and shipping cost)

Remember, I also offer a 25-1/2" scale bolt-on FB-Style set too.

Any chance you could make a Gibson Nighthawk template w/ 2 buckers and set neck, 25 1/2 inch scale? (Yes that's right, the stock Nighthawks have a 25 1/2 in scale neck).

I have 2 Nighthawks that I could use to trace my own, but yours seem to be top notch products for the bucks, and I'm betting my end product would reflect that.

I'm going to use it to make a guitar out of that birdseye maple that I picked up and make it a carved top. I've got some ash that I was thinking of using for the back of the body to give it some extra snap, and would be making the neck from maple too most likely. Those elements are definitely NON-Gibson, but I'm not interested in making a clone. I want something more unique.

Well enough blabbing... Is that something you could help with?

I'll be hitting you up on that one, I think!

Also, a few guys have bought some G&L Tribute necks cheap...there's probably a need for a neck pocket template to work on a standard Fender body.

I'll send them here...Cool

Thanks! I've been quiet for a while because I was getting template orders out the door and super busy building actual guitars (imagine that!) Razz

There are a bunch of templates, jig, and custom body requests in the chute so I'll update this tread eventually!

Thanks!

I want to thank you guys for the overwhelming response! I'm digging my way towards daylight. Here's a request I just finished up...

'58 V-Style Template Set - (Click for more pics, price and shipping cost)

If you're wondering, the puzzle piece on the pickguard is to re-enforce the tip so it doesn't get dinged-up in your workshop. The puzzle-piece on the body reduces shipping cost by allowing a smaller shipping box. Your router will glide over both without leaving a hiccup.

Here's a comparison of the test pickguard made entirely of MDF and the final version with a maple insert.

I've had an avalanche of custom S-Style requests. Here's a hardtail, rear-route, standard trem in HSS and HSH...

And I really like this idea; standard trem, top route, mini-pool route in the bridge pickup position. Grab a couple of pickguard options and you've got tons of flexibility.
