So my best friend has a Suhr strat and just bought this ASAT so he'd have a Humbucker guitar. Thing is he still likes my H/S/S G&L Legacy more despite the fact that his ASAT was almost twice as much so today after playing my Legacy and his Suhr back to back and literally not being able to tell the difference with regards to feel and playability he offered to swap me for his ASAT.

I figure what the hell... I love the ASAT and I'm more of a Les Paul guy so this fits my style fine. Killer guitar with the most incredible maple top and a beautiful mahogany body. It weighs a tad bit more than my old non-chambered Les Paul and sounds and plays killer. It's got a Nitro finished neck and is Plek'd like all newer G&L's and the pups sound great but I'm not sure what they are. It's also got abalone inlay and a nice fat neck and sustains for days. I'll miss my strat but I can always build another one, or get another Legacy...

Pix...

Always a fan. Best off-the-shelf guitars out there IMO. I'm sure you'll love it long time!

Beautiful ASAT!

I've got a Comanche and wouldn't give it up for anything. Best super Strat out there!

I have always admired those ASAT guitars.

G & L guitars seem to be another brand that falls through the cracks and are severely underrated.

Yeh I never understood why they aren't bigger. Its really hard to find one in the UK but everytime I stumble upon one I'm always amazed with how great the quality is

Totally agree: I had an ASAT with that bridge and it was great.
