Followed by two color burst w/maple neck I'll betcha..

The rarest and Leo's favorite color if I remember correctly, was a candy apple red...not sure how it was created...and don't quote me, but I think a transparent red lacquer was sprayed over a gold...I believe it was the only color that wasn't already used on a car..they used metallic silver also but He liked the gold because it had a more maroon look, whereas the silver was more red.
I've only seen a couple of these..one was a jazzmaster that belonged to Luther Perkins. Wink

+1, most coveted. BB, blackguard, maple neck.

Second most coveted is a double bound Custom, sunburst, rosewood neck.

Joe, I'd vote for Vintage Cream or Olympic White with a tort guard out of those colors.

Second choice would be Sonic or Daphne blue.

I'd have to say that the most desired colors would be BB or double bound Sunburst

Thanks guys. I understand all about the BB and burst finishes being the desired finishes. That's kind of why I capitalized in the title PAINT colors, because that is what my question really is about. I know some of you were joking by putting trans colors in your comments but I am really looking for the input on paint choices. Wink

While we're ordering 'off the menu' - shell pink.

Personally, I'd like to do one in vintage cream.
