I think we think alike '60s & '70s = the best decades for music. Cool

I posted for 80's and 90's, just because of my musical preference is from that era as of right now...

I think this is actually a pretty good poll for a change. I like the concept and will find the results interesting.

Hopefully you'll post the graph upon completion. I'll be interested to see the results of your data collection.

BTW...I cast my vote based upon the choices you listed, but I would have chosen a different decade for my personal vote. Probably would have gone with the 1920s...pretty important decade in the history of jazz music. I'm not being critical...just submitting a spark for future conversation.

I voted for the 60's and 70's because I think that was really a defining period, at least for rock music.

We had a few very gifted musicians die from drug use and the influence they left behind.

I mean you go from the Beatles who really defined the Popular Rock music genre to Led Zep to even the Grateful Dead.

A very well documented two decades of music.
