Got this mighty mite ash body, contours are in a bit of a rough condition because I took a rasp to it to thin it out....

What color should I paint this?

I was at a metal concert last Saturday and I saw a bunch of J-bass... one clear coated and a white J-bass that turns out to be a mary kaye (both has ash body)

Will use a maple/maple neck by the way....

While not one of your option listed above, i saw a really nice Fender in the store with a dark grainfill and a wine colored clear on it. It was really sweet looking. Similar to Kellinwood's strat but in a wine red rather than blue. Just my 2 cents.

Trans surf green with dark grainfill. I now prefer surf green over sonic, and with a tinted maple neck it would be awesome.

I am really thinking something more like natural center and cherry sunburst... kinda like those Fenders you see out there... I also got some pearls I got off of ebay was wondering about incorporating them into the clear coat....
