Brett, I like it, but the daphne looks too new. If the decal yellowed like that with age, I would expect the clear over the daphne to yellow a bit as well. It might be me, but do you think the decal looks a little big? Or, is that appropriate for the year you're replicating? Cool I'm comparing it to this one from George.

Looks good but I think Houndog is right, It will look better once the clearcoat yellows a bit.

Brett, The bass is hot. The logo ruins it (for me at least). I think you should go back and give it a single shot of amber... Looks like too many coats on it.

ahhhh well it did a few things in the process

1.) I learned how to age a logo

2.) I used a logo I had laying around for months

3.) I learned it doesnt look good hahahahaha

Im not going to risk ruining the finish to take it off so...

You could get it off without ruining the finish. Just sand with 800, be careful and have another decal ready!

Hey man, don't let my opinion poop on your day in the sun. You do outstanding work and that bass is definitely a player. Maybe once the paint starts to yellow it will look better to me but it looks like the color is too fresh for the ambered logo. Great looking family you got there.

I actually like it in the first shot, it's the second shot where it looks a bit too yellow, at least to my eyes. But hey, don't worry about it, I can't see it from my house anyway! Laughing Laughing Laughing
