I'm curious as to where the door-opening-guitar-knocking-over-guy fits into the financial equation.

I would probably have sucked it up and bought it, too.

You know what, when I set up this poll I had the first choice as, Buy it at full retail price.
I don't know what happened here, but that is weird it lists, "at dealers cost", twice! Evil or Very Mad
It kind of invalidates the whole premise of the poll. Evil or Very Mad
Sorry..................

Joe is there anyway to fix this??

oh man that would suck...i would first try and see if there was a way out of it. I can't imagine them MAKING you buy it if it was an accident. But a noble thing to just buck up and pay for it right away. Any excuse to buy a sweet guitar. Wink

I don't think I'd OFFER to buy it at full retail price, especially since it was accidental. I think I'd at least ASK if their insurance covers it, CONSIDER running out the door, but mostly WORRYING about how I'm going to explain my new guitar to my wife!

...Does ebay still let you sell vital organs?

Interested to know the FINAL outcome.

I tried. It s wierd b/c it is listed only once. I think if I mess with it, it will delete any of the poll results already taken in account. I voted to pay dealer cost as well. Good luck, that does suck though.

Yeah it was weird.
I had to edit it a couple times because it wasn't posting my correct choices in the poll. Then I though it was right until I visited later.....

Anyway, my choice was to offer to buy it at dealers cost with it repaired.
Hey, accidents happen and unless they have a sign that says, "You break it, you buy it", I don't think they should ask the customer to pay.
But, in the end, none of us was there.
So we really don't know exactly how it went down. Wink
