RIP Mal.

That leaves Angus as the only surviving Young brother, that must be tough.

Oldest brother Stephen , Stevie Young's dad passed away in 1989.

2nd oldest brother Alex didn't move to Australia and passed away in 1997.

We lost older brother and AC/DC "coach" George a few weeks back.

Sister Margaret still lives in Sydney.

I put almost all of AC/DC's catalog on the ITunes on my phone today. Got it on shuffle. Been really bummed about this since when I first heard the news on Saturday. I've always felt as a guitar player, if given the chance to play in AC/DC, which guitar role would I prefer. It's always been Malcolm. I think I read/heard Scott Ian of Anthrax say the same thing. I could crank out riff after riff after riff of their tunes all day and night, and enjoy the hell out of it. They've always had the great hook and feel. There arenít too many bands that I could say I dig the rhythm guitar as much as the lead/solos.

RIP Malcolm Young.

It's an Aussie pub rock thing and Mal perfected it. George Young also "highly encouraged" it among the other bands on the Alberts roster .

Late post, but gutted as you might expect... that man held it together like no others... sad day it was..and is.

Not helped by saying goodbye to a dear friend taken way too soon the day before.

RIP Malc and Jeff
