I wanted to share this tip for anyone not aware that the abrasive files used for manicures and pedicures are perfect for leveling post repair wood and finish.

I buy these new at the RX store and break them in with water slightly before using. Perfect for spot repairs, like a broken headstock, replacement re-gluing of binding. Much easier to control than sandpaper and I get a good feel of what I am doing, as I am doing it. And it is easier to see what you are doing.
