the distance from the nut to the bridge is 27.5" currently, its a normal strat neck i just put the bridge back farther

If the distance from the 12th fret to the nut isn't the same as the 12th fret to the saddles then your guitar will be impossible to get in tune. You will either need to find a 27.5'' neck which is gonna be hard unless you get it custom made or move the bridge back to where the original one was. Just looking out for ya!

Hello, I see this is a fairly old thread now but I'm hoping someone would be able to offer some help on the wiring for a newly acquired St. George branded (exactly like the Kawai) S -180.
It has two of the pickup wires to switches broken off.
I think I may be able to guess where they go but I'd like to be sure. There is still very little information on the web regarding this guitar.
For shame as it is a wonderful piece of guitar history.
Please help.
